Grim Assistant

I am silent as the night
The grim only hears my whispering call
Darker and colder than a black knight
Soothing your blood is, of you I maul

Bittersweet is the thought of the flow
Swiftly it tears and opens like paper
Smirking as you slowly go cold
Your spirit and soul disappearing to vapor

Life is such a beautiful thing to live
Yet the scum leaves scars, wounds, and stains
Only welcome to those who truly strive
Curses and pain coursing through their veins

At times wishing to aid the grim's duty
To rid those who are not and never will be worthy
Recreating a world of peace, love, and beauty
If that were only my journey.....
